Job Summary
The Specialist - Software Development (Artificial Intelligence) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions to solve complex business challenges. This role requires expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data engineering. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered applications and contributes to advancing the organization’s technological capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Development
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI algorithms tailored to business requirements.
• Build and optimize deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Implement natural language processing (NLP) techniques for tasks such as text analysis, sentiment detection, and chatbot development.
Data Engineering and Processing
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets for training and testing AI models.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions for AI applications.
System Integration and Deployment
• Integrate AI models into production systems using scalable and secure frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms or on-premise systems.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed models.
Research and Innovation
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Propose and implement innovative AI solutions to improve existing processes and products.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate and refine AI models and algorithms.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
• Partner with product teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand and align solutions with business goals.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on AI tools and techniques.
• Document AI workflows, models, and implementation processes for future reference.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
Experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development with 3+ years focused on AI/ML.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying AI-based applications in production environments.
Technical Skills
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Proficiency in data engineering tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark).
• Familiarity with NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Knowledge of cloud AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI, Microsoft Azure AI).
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Kafka).
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with computer vision technologies (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO, Fast R-CNN).
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning and generative AI techniques.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
Preferred Certifications
• Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
• AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty.
