Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service electronic and biometric devices.
• Perform PCB-level troubleshooting, soldering, desoldering and component replacement.
• Use multimeters, soldering stations and other diagnostic equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows, device drivers, firmware, applications and hardware peripherals.
• Provide onsite and remote installation, maintenance and technical support.
• Configure basic networking, including TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS and VPN.
• Perform basic Microsoft SQL Server installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Maintain service reports, repair records and customer-support documentation.
• Create product demonstrations, installation guides and troubleshooting videos.
• Use AI tools to create scripts, images, presentations, voiceovers, reels and social-media posts.
• Coordinate with technical, sales and marketing teams to convert technical knowledge into simple customer-facing content.

Required Skills

• Electronics repair and PCB-level fault diagnosis.
• Soldering, desoldering and electronic-component replacement.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and Windows troubleshooting.
• Basic networking and Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable recording product demonstrations and appearing in videos.
• Familiarity with AI and content tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, CapCut or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel for customer installations and service visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, E&TC, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in electronics servicing or technical support.
• Basic understanding of biometric devices, IoT and embedded systems.
• Experience creating technical videos, reels, posts or tutorials.
• Good written and spoken English and Hindi; Marathi would be an advantage.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
