Position - Service Engineer
Department - Service / Technical Support
Location - Pune
Employment Type - Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of company products/equipment. The ideal candidate should possess good English communication skills, a professional attitude, and practical technical experience.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of machines/equipment at client locations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Coordinate with internal technical and production teams for issue resolution.
Maintain service reports and documentation properly.
Ensure timely closure of service complaints and customer queries.
Follow company SOPs, safety standards, and reporting procedures.
Train customers/users regarding basic operation and maintenance of equipment when required.
Required Qualifications
Polytechnic Diploma completed in:
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering
Or relevant technical field
Experience Required
Minimum 1+ years of experience in servicing, maintenance, or technical support role.
Required Skills
Good English speaking and communication skills.
Basic technical troubleshooting knowledge.
Ability to handle clients professionally.
Polite, disciplined, and customer-oriented behavior.
Willingness to travel for service visits if required.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Positive attitude and team coordination skills.
Experience in handling technical equipment/machines will be preferred.
Salary
As per company standards and candidate experience. ( 18000-30000)
