Job Title: Software and Data Science Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist  to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, a passion for solving technical problems, and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our platform, utilizing large-scale data to derive insights and drive business value, while working on both front-end and back-end components.

What We Require:

• A strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development, including but not limited to:
  • Front-end development with TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Back-end development using Apache Spark or similar technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable platform solutions, focusing on end-to-end data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges across the stack.
• Utilize large-scale data to inform decision-making and enhance platform capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in software engineering and data management, with an emphasis on end-to-end data science workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
