About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Software Packaging Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join our enterprise IT operations team. You will lead the design, packaging, testing, and deployment of software applications across thousands of Windows-based PCs, laptops, and virtual endpoints in a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is critical for ensuring seamless, secure, and compliant software delivery to support business agility and zero-downtime operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain application packages using advanced tools like Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, MSI editors (e.g., InstallShield, Wise Package Studio), App-V, and MSIX for Windows 10/11 endpoints.  
- Automate packaging pipelines with scripting (PowerShell, Batch) and CI/CD integration (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) to handle high-volume enterprise deployments.  
- Perform rigorous testing, conflict resolution, and virtualization of complex applications, including legacy software, ensuring compatibility across hardware (PCs, laptops, thin clients) and OS configurations.  
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to enforce enterprise standards for patching, upgrades, and compliance (e.g., NIST, GDPR, ISO 27001).  
- Troubleshoot deployment issues in production, optimize package performance, and provide documentation/training for self-service portals.  
- Analyze packaging metrics, reduce deployment failures, and innovate solutions for hybrid/cloud environments (e.g., integrating with Microsoft Endpoint Manager or VMware).  

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise software packaging and deployment, with proven expertise in Windows ecosystems.  
- Deep proficiency in packaging tools: SCCM/MECM, Intune, App-V, MSIX, Flexera AdminStudio, or equivalent.  
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, or Python for automation and customization.  
- Hands-on experience with enterprise tools like Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management platforms.  
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).  
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of handling 1000+ endpoint deployments.  

Preferred Skills
- Experience with macOS packaging (e.g., Jamf, AutoPkg) or Linux (e.g., RPM/Snap) for multi-OS enterprises.  
- Knowledge of cloud-native packaging (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces).  
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL, or packaging-specific (e.g., Flexera Certified).  
- Familiarity with regulatory tech (RegTech) environments, AI-driven automation, or data pipeline integrations.
