Solution Architect - Consulting (SCM)

Overview

• We are looking for a motivated and experienced Solution Architect/Consultant to join our professional services team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for defining and designing solutions for our clients in the supply chain industry and ensuring they are delivered successfully. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the supply chain procurement, order management and logistics functions and a proven track record in solution architecture.

Scope

• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.

• Assists Project Managers in planning efforts.  Communicates and/or supports the business cases to product management and product development teams regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.  

• Conducts/leads business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project that leads to writing functional specifications.  Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project.  

• Creates detailed tasks on overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements).  Develops and executes test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.  Develops functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.  

• Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team.

Our current technical environment

• The candidate will work on the Blue Yonder suite of products, with a strong focus on next-generation Blue Yonder Network Solutions, which enable end-to-end supply chain visibility and seamless collaboration across all levels of trading partners, including suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.

What you’ll do

• Work with clients to understand their business requirements and objectives

• Design and deliver solution architectures that meet the client’s needs

• Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to ensure the solutions are delivered successfully

• Lead presentations and demonstrations of the solutions to clients

• Stay current on new and emerging technologies and industry trends and provide recommendations for incorporating them into solutions

What we are looking for

• 7 - 10 years of experience in solution architecture/consulting with focus on supply chain solutions.

• Proven track record of delivering successful solutions

• Strong functional knowledge and experience with supply chain management software solutions

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lead presentations to clients

• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients(Domestic/International).
