Specialist - System Management
Role Title Linux Admin IBM GuardiumWe are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong IBM Guardium expertise to manage support and secure enterprise database activity monitoring and data protection environments The ideal candidate should possess handson experience in Linux administration IBM Guardium deployment configuration troubleshooting performance tuning and security compliance implementations
Key Responsibilities
Administer configure and maintain IBM Guardium environments across production and nonproduction systems
Perform installation upgrades patching migration and health checks of IBM Guardium appliances
Manage Database Activity Monitoring DAM Vulnerability Assessment VA and Data Discovery modules
Configure Guardium collectors aggregators and central managers
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Guardiumrelated issues
Administer Linux servers RHEL CentOS Ubuntu supporting Guardium infrastructure
Perform user administration access management and security policy implementation
Configure and maintain database monitoring policies for Oracle SQL Server DB2 PostgreSQL and other supported databases
Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery activities for Guardium platforms
Support audit compliance and regulatory requirements such as SOX PCIDSS GDPR and ISO 27001
Collaborate with database security infrastructure and application teams
Create technical documentation SOPs and operational runbooks
Participate in incident management root cause analysis and problem management activities
