Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Assist waiters/stewards in serving food and beverages
- Set up tables with plates, cutlery, glasses, and napkins
- Serve water and welcome guests politely
- Clear used dishes and clean tables
- Help maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas
- Carry food orders from kitchen to guests
- Refill supplies like tissues, sauces, and utensils
- Follow hygiene and safety standards
- Support smooth restaurant operations during busy hours
Skills Required
- Good communication skills
- Polite and friendly behavior
- Teamwork
- Basic customer service knowledge
- Ability to work fast and stay organized
- Physical stamina for standing and carrying trays
Qualification
- Usually 10th/12th pass
- Hotel management training is a plus but not always required
- Freshers can apply in many restaurants/hotels
