Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities:·        

1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials (batteries, components, raw materials, packing materials, etc.)
2. Ensure proper stacking, labelling, and storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.
3. Issue raw materials, tools, and components as per production requirements using proper documentation.Maintain and update stock registers or ERP software regularly.
4. Monitor inventory levels and inform Store In-Charge for timely reordering.
5. Conduct regular physical stock verification and assist in monthly/quarterly/yearly audits.
6. Ensure safe handling and storage of battery chemicals and components as per safety guidelines.
7. Coordinate with purchase, quality, and production teams for material requirements.
8. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area.
9. Assist in loading/unloading and dispatch of finished goods.

Key Skills and Competencies:·        

1. Basic knowledge of storekeeping practices and inventory management.
2. Familiarity with materials used in UPS and battery manufacturing.
3. Ability to use MS Excel / inventory management software / ERP (preferred).
4. Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
5. Understanding of safety precautions, especially for battery chemicals and electrical components.
