Zscaler SME – Scope of Work Activities
•    Perform current-state assessment of the existing Zscaler environment, including policies, integrations, traffic flows, authentication, NSS logging, App Connectors, and security controls.
•    Design and document the future-state Zscaler architecture aligned with the new organization’s security, compliance, operational, logging, and segmentation requirements.
•    Build and configure new Zscaler tenant(s), including ZIA/SIPA services, administrative roles, NSS logging infrastructure, App Connectors for SIPA, policy framework, and governance controls.
•    Configure and integrate identity services (SSO/MFA/AD integration), endpoint connectors, traffic forwarding methods, SIEM integrations, and third-party security tools.
•    Configure and deploy SIPA  App Connectors for secure private application access, including connectivity validation, application segmentation, and high availability setup.
•    Configure NSS (Nanolog Streaming Service) logging for log forwarding, SIEM integration, monitoring, audit visibility, and operational reporting requirements.
•    Analyze existing configurations and perform selective migration of applicable policies, applications, user groups, logging configurations, and access rules from the legacy environment.
•    Develop migration strategy, implementation runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and validation/testing approach for phased migration activities.
•    Execute pilot migrations, phased production migrations, troubleshooting, stabilization, and optimization activities with minimal business disruption.
•    Prepare technical documentation, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and provide post-migration hypercare and operational support.
