TelecallerJob Overview:
Telecaller is responsible for managing the front desk area and ensuring that all phone calls are answered promptly and professionally. This role combines administrative and customer service duties, including handling inquiries, providing information, scheduling appointments, and managing communication through calls.
- 📞 Job Responsibilities –
Telecaller Duties:
- Telecaller (Hostel)Handle inbound and outbound calls to explain hostel facilities, pricing, and availability to potential customers
- Respond to inquiries from students and working professionals regarding accommodation
- Convert leads into bookings by providing accurate information and convincing communication
- Maintain a database of inquiries, follow-ups, and confirmed admissions
- Do regular follow-ups with interested candidates to close bookings
- Coordinate with the hostel operations team for room availability and allocation
- Share details like location, amenities, rules, and payment process with clients
- Assist in achieving monthly booking targets
- Handle WhatsApp/chat inquiries professionally
- Maintain proper call records and daily reports
Skills & Qualifications:·
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good time management skills.
- A polite, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- Preferred Qualifications:· Prior experience in customer service, receptionist, or telecalling roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Work Environment:· Office-based, typically working standard business hours, though some roles may require evening or weekend shifts.
