Your Key Responsibilities

Key Objectives & Responsibilities

• Execute and achieve 100% tool manufacturing plan as per defined shift-wise targets.
• Ensure optimum utilization of Tool Room resources and improve overall machine uptime.
• Achieve a 10% annual reduction in cutting tool and consumable costs, in line with group guidelines.
• Inspect jobs after completion of each process and maintain necessary quality and production records.
• Reduce rejection and rework percentage to zero through process control and quality adherence.
• Train and develop manpower for multi-skilling and multitasking.
• Possess hands-on experience with CAM software and operate CNC/VMC machines independently.
• Support the Production Department by achieving a 10% annual reduction in tool downtime, as per group targets.

   

• Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth technical knowledge of Tool Room resources, including:
    • CAD / CAM systems
    • CNC & VMC machines
    • Tool and Die Making
  • Strong capability in tool manufacturing process planning and execution
  • Knowledge of types of tools and techniques used in tool manufacturing
  • Expertise in optimum utilization of manpower and machine resources
  • Familiarity with latest tool manufacturing methodologies and best practices

Skills

Your Qualifications

• Education

  • B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) or
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

  Job Experience

  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Tool Room / Tool Manufacturing operations
