Video Editor

About the Role: We are seeking a creative and efficient Video Editor to take ownership of our weekly video content. If you know how to hook an audience in the first 3 seconds of a Reel, keep them watching a 10-minute YouTube video, and leverage the latest AI technology to push creative boundaries, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistent Production: Deliver a minimum of 3 dynamic Instagram Reels and 1 polished, long-form YouTube video every week.
• AI Content Creation: Generate b-roll, visual effects, or fully synthetic scenes using cutting-edge AI generative video platforms.
• Creative Editing: Enhance raw footage with sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and engaging captions.
• Platform Optimization: Tailor edits specifically for the algorithms and audience behaviors of YouTube and Instagram.
• Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest audio trends, memes, and both traditional and AI editing styles.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ years of professional video editing experience.
• AI Proficiency: Demonstrable ability to create and manipulate video using AI generation tools.
• Software: Expertise in industry-standard editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage assets and consistently hit weekly publishing schedules.
• Portfolio: A strong showreel demonstrating your ability to edit for social media, ideally including examples of AI-generated or enhanced work.
