Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented, and result-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our franchise-based sales operations across existing routes and drive aggressive business expansion into new territories. The candidate will be responsible for managing franchise outlets, ensuring timely dispatch and product availability, expanding into new markets across Chhattisgarh and Odisha, maintaining franchise relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving overall sales growth using ERPNext software for reporting and monitoring.

  • Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Franchise Outlet Management (Existing Routes)Manage complete franchise operations across the following existing routes:
  • Jagdalpur (Head Location)
  • Nagarnar Route
  • Bijapur Route
  • Sukma Route
  • Kanker Route
  • Dantewada Route
  • Ensure daily sales performance monitoring of each franchise outlet.
  • Maintain healthy business relationships with all franchise partners.
  • Conduct regular visits and route audits to ensure brand standards, hygiene, and service quality.
  • Resolve franchise partner grievances, disputes, and operational issues promptly.
  • 2. Business Expansion & New Route DevelopmentIdentify and develop new franchise routes and outlets for business expansion, including:
  • Chhattisgarh Region: Route expansion up to Raipur
  • Odisha Region: New markets in Jeypore, Navrangpur, Koraput and surrounding areas
  • Conduct market surveys, feasibility studies, and competition analysis for new locations.
  • Identify potential franchise partners, evaluate their credentials, financial capacity, and location.
  • Present business proposals to prospective franchisees and negotiate terms.
  • Onboard new franchise outlets — from lead generation to outlet inauguration.
  • 3. Franchise Agreement & DocumentationPrepare and execute franchise agreements for all new outlets under the company name.
  • Ensure timely renewal of franchise agreements for existing outlets to avoid business disruption.
  • Maintain a centralized franchise agreement tracker with expiry alerts.
  • Coordinate with legal team for drafting, amendment, and enforcement of franchise contracts.
  • Handle franchise deposits, royalty, and financial settlements.
  • 4. Compliance & Licensing (FSSAI & Food License)Ensure every franchise outlet holds a valid FSSAI Food License.
  • Track and monitor license renewal dates to avoid expiry and penalties.
  • Guide franchise partners for new FSSAI registration, GST, and Shop Act licenses.
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits to ensure adherence to food safety norms.
  • Coordinate with FSSAI officials and government departments for inspections.
  • 5. Sales Operations & Product AvailabilityEnsure 100% product availability across all franchise outlets — milk, curd, paneer, ghee, butter, lassi, buttermilk, ice cream, sweets, and other dairy products.
  • Take daily/weekly orders from franchise outlets and forward to dispatch team.
  • Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs at each outlet.
  • Prevent stock-outs and reduce product wastage/returns.
  • Push new product launches and seasonal offerings across all outlets.
  • 6. Dispatch Coordination & Timely SupplyCoordinate with Transport Manager and Dispatch Team for timely product delivery to all franchise outlets.
  • Communicate with drivers and delivery staff to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
  • Plan and optimize route-wise dispatch schedules for maximum efficiency.
  • Track delivery status and resolve delivery-related issues in real time.
  • Ensure cold chain integrity during transportation of dairy products.
  • 7. ERPNext Software UtilizationManage the complete Sales & Distribution module in ERPNext.
  • Create and maintain franchise-wise customer accounts, price lists, and credit terms in ERPNext.
  • Process sales orders, delivery notes, and invoices through ERPNext.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for each outlet and route.
  • Monitor outlet-wise sales performance, target vs. achievement, and outstanding payments.
  • Use ERPNext dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
  • 8. Franchise Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with all franchise partners.
  • Conduct monthly franchise partner meetings to review performance and address concerns.
  • Motivate franchisees through incentive schemes, promotional support, and recognition programs.
  • Provide operational support, training, and guidance to franchise staff.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and franchise partners.
  • 9. Marketing & Brand PromotionPlan and execute local marketing activities — hoardings, banners, pamphlets, digital promotions.
  • Support franchise outlets with branding materials, signage, and POS marketing.
  • Organize product tasting events, launches, and consumer engagement activities.
  • Drive social media presence and local advertising to boost brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for seasonal campaigns and festive promotions.
  • 10. Payment Collection & Credit ManagementMonitor outstanding payments from all franchise outlets.
  • Ensure timely collection as per credit terms.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Department for reconciliation and payment follow-ups.
  • Reduce debtor days and maintain healthy cash flow from franchise operations.
  • 11. Daily Reporting & MISSubmit daily sales reports to management including:
  • Route-wise & outlet-wise sales performance
  • Product-wise sales & availability status
  • New outlet onboarding progress
  • Franchise renewal & license status
  • Outstanding payments & collections
  • Competitor activity & market feedback
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business review presentations for management.
  • Maintain all reports through ERPNext for accuracy and transparency.
  • 12. Market Intelligence & Competitor AnalysisTrack competitor pricing, product launches, and marketing activities.
  • Identify emerging consumer trends and preferences in the dairy segment.
  • Suggest new products, pack sizes, and pricing strategies based on market insights.
  • Provide feedback to production and R&D teams for product improvement.
  • 13. Team ManagementLead and mentor the sales team, field executives, and route officers.
  • Assign territories, set targets, and monitor daily performance.
  • Conduct training programs on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer handling.
  • Motivate the team to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

  • Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred) or Graduate with relevant experience
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Sales & Marketing, preferably in Dairy, FMCG, or Food & Beverage industry with franchise model management experience
  • Software Skills: Hands-on experience in ERPNext (Sales & CRM modules), MS Office, and reporting tools
  • Language: Hindi (mandatory), English (working knowledge), Chhattisgarhi & Odia (preferred for regional coverage)
  • License: Valid Driving License (4-wheeler); willing to travel extensively
  • Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of franchise business model and dairy retail operations
  • Proven track record in new market development and business expansion
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with ERPNext proficiency
