Job Description

Preparation and Testing

  • Mix solutions: Make chemical reagents and standard solutions using precise formulas.
  • Setup gear: Arrange glassware, heaters, balances, and testing tools for experiments.
  • Run basic tests: Help measure samples, weigh compounds, and test materials under supervision. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]



Maintenance and Organization

  • Clean equipment: Wash and sterilize glassware, instruments, and work surfaces.
  • Manage stock: Track inventory, order fresh chemical supplies, and restock shelves.
  • Record data: Write down test results accurately in logs or digital systems. [1, 2, 3, 4]



Safety and Compliance

  • Handle waste: Dispose of hazardous chemical waste following safety rules.
  • Follow protocols: Wear protective gear and adhere strictly to laboratory safety standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
