Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Billing Specialist to join our accounting department. You will be responsible for end-to-end billing operations, ensuring invoices are accurate, sent on time, and successfully collected.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue accurate invoices, receipts, and account statements to clients.
• Data Verification: Verify billing data (pricing, contract terms) and correct any discrepancies before invoicing.
• Account Maintenance: Maintain precise records of client accounts, payments, and credits in the billing system.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor outstanding balances, process incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Customer Support: Respond to client inquiries regarding their bills, investigate discrepancies, and resolve disputes promptly.
• Reporting & Audits: Generate periodic reports on billing activity and assist the finance team during month-end closes and audits

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related accounting role.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping/billing software (Miracle Accounting Software) and Microsoft Excel.
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical abilities, and top-tier customer service and communication skills
