Store Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Manager to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of raw materials, machinery parts, child parts, finished goods, and consumables. The ideal candidate should ensure accurate stock records, timely material availability for production, and proper coordination with the Purchase, Production, and Dispatch departments.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.

* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.

* Maintain proper storage of machinery parts, child parts, raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.

* Issue materials to production as per approved material requisitions.

* Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers.

* Conduct daily, monthly, and annual stock verification and inventory audits.

* Ensure proper identification, labeling, and bin management of all materials.

* Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.

* Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

* Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.

* Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, damages, or excess inventory.

* Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security of the store.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.

* Supervise store assistants and ensure adherence to company procedures.

Required Qualifications

* Graduate in any discipline (preferred).

* Diploma or certification in Store Management or Inventory Management is an added advantage.

Experience

* 3–8 years of experience in store management within a manufacturing or engineering company.

* Experience handling machinery parts, fabricated components, child parts, agricultural implements, or industrial equipment is preferred.

Required Skills

* Good knowledge of inventory management and store operations.

* Experience with ERP systems, inventory software, and MS Excel.

* Understanding of part numbering, BOM (Bill of Materials), and material identification.

* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet production requirements.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
