Retail Merchandiser

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandiser to support inventory management, data handling, and operational reporting at our Tanishq showroom. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing reports, analyzing stock data, and supporting smooth showroom operations through effective data management and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and product database in the system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
• Analyze stock data to identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and ageing inventory.
• Ensure accurate product tagging, coding, and data entry.
• Perform stock reconciliation between physical inventory and system records.
• Generate MIS reports related to inventory and showroom operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams for inventory updates and record maintenance.
• Monitor stock availability and share timely updates with management.
• Maintain documentation related to inventory, audits, and stock records.
• Support management in preparing operational and analytical reports using Excel.
• Ensure proper maintenance of inventory-related files and data accuracy.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS Reporting preferred)
• Good analytical and data management skills
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic understanding of inventory and retail operations
• Good reporting and documentation skills
• Ability to handle and analyze large sets of data
