AutoCAD Draughtsman

An AutoCAD Draughtsman is responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and layouts based on inputs from architects, engineers, or designers, translating conceptual ideas into detailed plans for construction or engineering projects. The role includes preparing architectural, structural, electrical, or mechanical drawings, revising designs as per feedback, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintaining proper documentation and version control. The draughtsman collaborates closely with project teams, may assist in site measurements, and incorporates on-site changes into drawings when required. Candidates should have proficiency in AutoCAD, a solid understanding of drafting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings, along with a diploma or certification in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field; prior experience of 1–3 years is preferred, though skilled freshers may also be considered.
