Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook/Chef to manage daily kitchen operations and maintain high-quality food standards at The Chai Cartel. The ideal candidate should be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily kitchen operations ko efficiently handle karna aur Head Chef ke instructions ko effectively implement karna
• Food preparation, cooking, aur presentation ko brand standards ke according maintain karna
• Ingredients ka proper storage, FIFO method follow karna, aur wastage minimize karna
• Portion control maintain karna to ensure consistency and cost efficiency
• Kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, aur food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines) strictly follow karna
• Commis staff aur kitchen helpers ko guide aur supervise karna
• New menu items ke trials, testing aur execution mein actively support karna
• Peak hours mein speed aur quality dono maintain karna

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years ka experience in professional kitchen (QSR / Café / Restaurant preferred)
• Continental, Indian aur Café-style cuisine ka practical knowledge
• Fast-paced environment mein kaam karne ki ability with consistency
• Strong team player with basic leadership & supervision skills
• Food safety, hygiene aur kitchen operations ka basic understanding
• Discipline, punctuality aur positive work attitude
