Job Description

Relationship Manager - MLAP

1. Sales Targets & Revenue Generation
  • Target Achievement: Achieve specific monthly and annual volume targets for home loan disbursements.
  • Cross-selling: Pitch related financial products such as insurance, credit cards, or Top-Up/Loan Against Property (LAP).
  • Yield Management: Ensure loans are sourced at optimal interest rates to maximize profitability for the financial institution. [1]
2. Lead Generation & Sourcing
  • Open Market Sourcing: Conduct self-generation activities through cold calling, corporate tie-ups, and market mapping.
  • Channel Partner Management: Build and nurture networks with real estate developers, property brokers (DSAs), and builders to secure referral leads. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
3. Customer Service & Portfolio Quality
  • Turnaround Time (TAT): Minimize the time taken from initial customer contact to formal loan approval and disbursement.
  • First Time Right (FTR): Ensure that the documents collected from the applicant are complete and accurate upon first submission to reduce processing errors.
  • Delinquency & First Payment Default (FPD): Maintain low default rates by sourcing high-quality, credit-worthy profiles. [1, 2]
4. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all loan files comply with the National Housing Bank (NHB) guidelines, KYC (Know Your Customer) norms, and internal bank policies.
  • Field Investigation (FI): Verify the customer's residential and business premises accurately to mitigate credit and fraud risks
