Job SummaryThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are met in guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned locations. The role involves supervising daily operations, training team members, inspecting work quality, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping attendants and cleaners.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Assign duties and work schedules to housekeeping staff.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate inventory replenishment.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering/maintenance team.
