1. Educational Qualification

  • Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechatronics / Production Engineering
  • Some roles accept ITI + experience for smaller companies.

2. Work Experience

  • Usually 5–10+ years in machine maintenance or repair
  • Experience handling:
  • Industrial machines (CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic systems)
  • Breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance

4. Management Skills

  • Ability to lead a team of technicians
  • Planning maintenance schedules
  • Inventory/spare parts management
  • Coordination with production teams

5. Age Limit

  • Usually not strict in private sector
