POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and at the desired quality standards. The role involves manpower supervision, machine utilization, process discipline, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Allocate manpower effectively across shifts and workstations
• Ensure adherence to production plans, SOPs, and work instructions
• Monitor machine performance and minimize breakdowns and downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, 5S, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Planning departments
• Monitor raw material usage and reduce wastage and rejections
• Ensure first-time-right production and adherence to quality standards
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and shift handovers
• Train, motivate, and discipline operators and helpers
• Maintain production records, reports, and shift logs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement.
• Testing of machine and ensure it will meet all pefromace parameters.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience Required: 3  to 5 Years
•  BE Mechanical

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with production planning and control
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Technical understanding of machinery and processes
