Job SummaryThe Welder is responsible for welding transformer tanks, radiators, conservators, base frames, and other fabricated components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires ensuring strong, leak-proof welds while maintaining safety and productivity.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Arc, MIG, TIG, and CO₂ welding as per production requirements.
• Fabricate and weld transformer tanks, radiators, covers, and structural components.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Ensure welding quality, dimensional accuracy, and leak-proof joints.
• Conduct visual inspection of welds and rectify defects when required.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, gas cutting equipment, and hand tools.
• Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper housekeeping (5S).
• QualificationsITI in Welder Trade (NCVT/SCVT) preferred.
• Certification in welding will be an added advantage.
• Experience2–5 years in transformer, heavy fabrication, pressure vessel, or sheet metal manufacturing.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Arc, MIG, TIG, and CO₂ welding.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of fabrication tolerances.
• Knowledge of PPE and industrial safety practices.
• Teamwork and discipline.
