Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Sangli, Maharashtra
Company: Pantaloons (Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd.)
Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Pantaloons warehouse in Vasco, Goa. This role ensures efficient inventory management, timely dispatch and receipt of goods, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a focus on process optimization.
- Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate and timely inward and outward of merchandise as per company standards.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Implement and monitor warehouse management systems (WMS) for efficient tracking.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Coordinate with logistics, retail stores, and vendors for smooth supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and statutory regulations.
- Optimize space utilization and improve warehouse layout for efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, dispatch timelines, and inventory shrinkage.
- Handle escalations related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in stock.
- Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in retail or apparel industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/WMS software.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Skills:Experience in fashion or retail warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
