Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Customer EngagementActively approach walk-in customers and explain product features
  • Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements
  • Convert inquiries into sales and achieve monthly targets
  • Demonstrate products (inverters, batteries, solar systems)
  • 2. Product KnowledgeMaintain strong understanding of:
  • Inverters & UPS systems
  • Batteries (tubular, flat plate, etc.)
  • Solar panels & solutions
  • Stay updated on new product launches and offers
  • 3. Retail Outlet ManagementEnsure proper product display and visibility
  • Maintain stock awareness and coordinate with dealers
  • Place promotional materials (posters, standees, brochures)
  • 4. Reporting & CoordinationShare daily sales reports and customer feedback
  • Coordinate with distributor/area sales manager
  • Track competitor activities and pricing
  • 5. Customer ServiceHandle basic queries and complaints
  • Guide customers on installation and usage
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Key Skills RequiredStrong communication and persuasion skills
  • Basic technical understanding of electrical products
  • Sales-oriented mindset with target focus
  • Customer handling and negotiation skills
  • Local language proficiency (plus Hindi/English)
  • QualificationMinimum: 12th pass / Graduate preferred
  • Experience: 0–3 years in retail sales (electricals, appliances preferred)
  • Performance Metrics (KPIs)Monthly sales target achievement (%)
  • Conversion rate (walk-ins to sales)
  • Product mix (inverter + battery combo sales)
  • Customer satisfaction feedback
  • Retail display compliance
  • Work EnvironmentRetail electrical shops / dealer outlets
  • Field coordination with distributor
  • Weekend and peak-hour availability required
