Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Customer EngagementActively approach walk-in customers and explain product features
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements
- Convert inquiries into sales and achieve monthly targets
- Demonstrate products (inverters, batteries, solar systems)
- 2. Product KnowledgeMaintain strong understanding of:
- Inverters & UPS systems
- Batteries (tubular, flat plate, etc.)
- Solar panels & solutions
- Stay updated on new product launches and offers
- 3. Retail Outlet ManagementEnsure proper product display and visibility
- Maintain stock awareness and coordinate with dealers
- Place promotional materials (posters, standees, brochures)
- 4. Reporting & CoordinationShare daily sales reports and customer feedback
- Coordinate with distributor/area sales manager
- Track competitor activities and pricing
- 5. Customer ServiceHandle basic queries and complaints
- Guide customers on installation and usage
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Key Skills RequiredStrong communication and persuasion skills
- Basic technical understanding of electrical products
- Sales-oriented mindset with target focus
- Customer handling and negotiation skills
- Local language proficiency (plus Hindi/English)
- QualificationMinimum: 12th pass / Graduate preferred
- Experience: 0–3 years in retail sales (electricals, appliances preferred)
- Performance Metrics (KPIs)Monthly sales target achievement (%)
- Conversion rate (walk-ins to sales)
- Product mix (inverter + battery combo sales)
- Customer satisfaction feedback
- Retail display compliance
- Work EnvironmentRetail electrical shops / dealer outlets
- Field coordination with distributor
- Weekend and peak-hour availability required
