Project Manager – Construction

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager – Construction to oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, budgeting, quality control, and timely delivery of projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, execute, and supervise construction projects as per approved drawings and specifications.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.

* Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, and material requirements.

* Ensure projects are completed within the stipulated timeline and budget.

* Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.

* Manage procurement and vendor coordination for construction materials and services.

* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

* Prepare project progress reports and present updates to management.

* Resolve technical and operational issues at site efficiently.

* Lead and motivate site engineers, supervisors, and labour teams.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction project management.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and execution.

* Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

* Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project is preferred.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

* Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.

* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

* Knowledge of contracts, billing, BOQ, and cost control.

* Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
