AutoCAD Draughtsman (Fire & Safety)

Location: Karkhana, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana

Employment Type: Full-Time (Office-based with On-site visits as required)

Salary Range: ₹12,500 – ₹15,000 per month (Bond-Based Employment)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman (Fire & Safety) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise and compliant 2D CAD drawings for fire protection and life safety systems. The role demands a strong understanding of fire safety codes, engineering drawings, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality drawings that comply with NBC 2016, IS Standards, NFPA guidelines, and State Fire Department regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire protection and industrial safety systems
• Design layouts for:
• Fire Hydrant Systems
• Automatic Sprinkler Systems
• Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
• Smoke Management Systems
• Emergency Evacuation Plans
• Industrial Safety Layouts
• Prepare concept drawings, tender drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
• Develop and maintain BOQ (Bill of Quantities) / BOM (Bill of Materials) using MS Excel
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and statutory requirements
• Maintain proper drawing documentation, version control, and record management
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors for design inputs and revisions
• Visit project sites (if required) for data collection, verification, and implementation support

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) with command-based workflow
• Good working knowledge of:
• MS Excel (BOQ preparation)
• MS Word (documentation)
• MS PowerPoint (presentations)
• Typing speed of minimum 45 WPM with high accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Basic understanding of fire safety systems and engineering drawings
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prepare professional drawings and visually appealing layouts

Education & Experience

• ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or any Engineering discipline
• AutoCAD Certification is mandatory
• Freshers with strong technical skills can apply
• (Male candidates preferred as per project site requirements)

Work Details

• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 07:30 PM
• Work Mode: Office-based with occasional site visits
• Bond Period: 1 Year (Mandatory)
• Location: Karkhana, Secunderabad, Hyderabad
