Job Profile for Therapist:

1. Admission formalities completed- Proper file maintenance, record of previous documents, pre-therapy pictures of all activities of patients

2. Proper feedback of patients and coordinating between patients and doctors- If a change in medication in between, stopping of medicine, patient no difference, change of pressures, Patients willing or non-willing for therapy

3. Preparing a list of patients for therapy by Maam and Sir, adhere to the points told by senior doctors or Maam

4. Counselling of patients time to time, finalize if patients need to meet the doctors

5. Coordinating between Admin/Nutrition/Physio depts 

6. Regular meetings for updates regarding patients, leaves, and internal affairs

7. See that the post summary details are completed by the doctors

8. Software file completion before the patient is closed

9. Keep a note of the temporary closure of patients 

10. Regular trainings to be attended, soft spoken, on time attendance

Roles and Responsibilities of a Therapist

• Assess clients/patients to understand their physical concerns, pain areas, muscle stiffness, and treatment goals before starting therapy. 

• Perform various manual therapies as per organizational protocols to muscles, soft tissues, joints, and trigger points to relieve pain, improve circulation. 

• Maintain proper hygiene standards, sanitization of therapy rooms, linens, oils, and equipment before and after each session. 

• Monitor patient comfort and response during therapy sessions and modify techniques based on individual needs. 

• Maintain accurate treatment records, including patient history, therapy sessions provided, progress notes, and follow-up recommendations. 

• Educate patients/clients on post-therapy care, stretching exercises, hydration, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications. 

• Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, nutritionist when treating patients under multidisciplinary care plans. 

• Assist in rehabilitation programs for patients with musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, chronic pain, stress-related conditions, or postural issues. 

• Provide emotional comfort and maintain professionalism while dealing with patients experiencing pain or stress. 

• Follow clinic policies, ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and professional conduct requirements. 

• Support appointment scheduling, client follow-ups, and patient retention activities when required. 

• Educate patients on dietary and lifestyle protocols recommended by practitioners.
