Area Manager-Agri-Fin-Dealer Funding(DF) -Sales

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Agri-Fin-Dealer Funding(DF)-Sales department's operations and team. Your role involves setting strategic directions, implementing plans, and achieving sales targets. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success and the department's overall performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and explore potential partnerships to expand the department's reach.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay updated and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts and provide cross-functional support.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and share best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry knowledge and trends, attending relevant conferences and workshops.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using sales performance metrics and tools.
  • Knowledge of agricultural financing and the Indian agricultural market is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant sales management software.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region for business development purposes.
  • A results-driven and customer-centric approach to work.
