Design Engineer/Draftsman (Solar)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Solar AutoCAD Drafter to prepare accurate electrical and layout drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects, supporting design, approval, and execution teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare GA layouts, module & inverter layouts, SLDs, and electrical drawings
• Develop string layouts, cable routing, earthing & as-built drawings
• Revise drawings based on site inputs, approvals, and execution feedback
• Coordinate with design and site teams for drawing accuracy
• Ensure compliance with IEC, MNRE, DISCOM standards
• Skills & ToolsAutoCAD (Mandatory)
• Basic understanding of solar PV systems
• Knowledge of DC/AC layouts and electrical drawings
• PVsyst / Helioscope knowledge – preferred
• Qualification & ExperienceDiploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable)
• 1–4 years experience in solar EPC drafting
