Account Assistant

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Executive with strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor coordination, accounting entries in Tally, and material data management. The role involves handling end-to-end purchases, maintaining accurate records of materials, coordinating with accounts and stores, and ensuring timely availability of materials at optimal cost.

Key Responsibilities

1. Purchase & Vendor Management

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities including PR, RFQ, PO, and follow-ups
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for best pricing and quality
• Maintain approved vendor list and develop long-term supplier relationships
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements

2. Accounting & Tally Work

• Enter purchase bills, GRN, and expenses in Tally
• Match purchase invoices with PO and delivery challans
• Assist accounts team in GST compliance, vendor reconciliation, and audits
• Maintain proper documentation for accounts and statutory records

3. Material & Data Management

• Maintain material master data (item code, description, quantity, rate)
• Track inward, outward, and stock balances with stores/warehouse
• Coordinate with site teams for material dispatch and return
• Maintain MIS reports for purchases, stock, and vendor performance

4. Experience

• 2–6 years of experience in purchase & accounting coordination
• Experience in EPC / Solar / Manufacturing industry preferred

5. Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of purchase procedures and vendor negotiation
• Practical experience with Tally (ERP / Prime)
• Understanding of basic accounting, GST, and invoicing
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Good organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Ability to handle multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
