Job Description
Freelance AutoCAD Draftsman – Audio Visual (AV) Projects
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to assist with Audio Visual (AV) design projects on a work-by-work basis.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate AV equipment and systems into existing architectural and interior drawings.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for home theaters, conference rooms, AV racks, speaker layouts, projector layouts, and related systems.
- Research and collect dimensional data, technical specifications, and installation requirements of AV products from manufacturer websites and online resources.
- Create accurate 2D drawings and layouts based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with our AV design team to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience working with architectural, interior, MEP, or AV drawings.
- Ability to independently source product dimensions and technical information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet project deadlines.
Compensation:
- Payment will be on a per-project/per-drawing basis.
