Job Description
We are looking for a proactive HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations for our construction equipment business, including sales, service, workshop, and site teams. The role requires strong experience in handling both white-collar and blue-collar workforce across multiple locations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Recruitment & Manpower PlanningHandle hiring for Sales Executives, Service Engineers, Mechanics, Operators, Workshop Staff, and Office Staff
- Coordinate with department heads for monthly manpower planning
- Ensure fast hiring for critical roles in sales and service
- Maintain a ready database of technicians and operators
- 2. Payroll & Statutory ComplianceManage salary processing including PF, ESIC, bonus, and incentives
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and audit requirements
- Handle contractor and site labor compliance
- Maintain accurate attendance, overtime, and leave records
- 3. Employee ManagementHandle employee grievances, discipline, and retention strategies
- Maintain employee records and documentation
- Manage joining, induction, confirmation, and exit formalities
- Build a positive and performance-driven work culture
- 4. Performance & Target ManagementTrack KPI/target performance of Sales & Service teams
- Coordinate with management for monthly review meetings
- Support in setting targets and monitoring achievements
- Develop performance improvement plans for low performers
- 5. Training & DevelopmentOrganize product and technical training for service team
- Coordinate with principals for machine training programs
- Improve skill level of workshop staff and engineers
- Conduct basic HR and behavioral training
- 6. HR Operations & Expansion SupportImplement company HR policies across all branches
- Support new branch/workshop setup (hiring & compliance)
- Ensure discipline and safety norms at all locations
- Travel to branches/sites if required
- Key Requirements:Graduate / MBA in HR
- 3–7 years experience (preferred in construction equipment / automobile dealership)
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, labor laws
- Experience handling field staff, technicians, and operators
- Good communication and leadership skills
- KPIs (Performance Indicators):Timely closure of open positions
- Employee retention (especially service team)
- 100% compliance (PF, ESIC, labor laws)
- Attendance & payroll accuracy
- Employee satisfaction & discipline level
