Job Description
Job Title: AutoCAD Designer
Industry: Elevator / Lift Component Manufacturing
Location: Surat
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Create 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD for elevator components (cabins, doors, brackets, shafts, etc.)
Develop detailed fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specs
Coordinate with production & QC teams for drawing accuracy and feasibility
Modify and update drawings based on client requirements / site conditions
Maintain drawing database & documentation control
Support design improvements for cost reduction & efficiency
Assist in BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation
🧠 Required Skills
Strong command of AutoCAD (2D)
Knowledge of sheet metal design / fabrication drawings
Understanding of mechanical components & manufacturing processes
Basic knowledge of elevator systems (preferred)
Good coordination & problem-solving ability
🎓 Qualification
Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical or related field
Certification in AutoCAD
💼 Experience
1 to 3 years (Freshers with strong skills can be considered)
⏰ Working Conditions
Factory-based role (design + production coordination)
Standard shift (9–6 or as per company policy)

Experience in elevator / fabrication / engineering industry
Ability to read technical drawings & layouts
