Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Create high-quality 3D jewellery designs using Matrix / Rhino Matrix software.
- Develop detailed CAD models for rings, necklaces, bangles, earrings, pendants, and custom jewellery pieces.
- Convert manual sketches and concept ideas into precise 3D CAD models.
- Ensure designs are technically accurate and production-friendly.
- Prepare files for CAM and 3D printing processes.
- Work closely with the Production, Merchandising, and Sales teams to meet client specifications.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback.
- Maintain design library and documentation of completed projects.
- Ensure proper stone setting, metal weight estimation, and structural feasibility.
- Stay updated with international jewellery trends and innovative design techniques.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:3–5 years of experience as a CAD Designer in Gems & Jewellery.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Matrix software (mandatory).
- Good knowledge of Rhino, rendering tools, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of diamond grading, gemstone settings, and metal properties.
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings.
- Strong creativity with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design or related field preferred.
- Preferred Skills:Experience in handling export market designs.
- Knowledge of CAM, STL file preparation, and 3D printing workflow.
- Experience in lightweight and high-end jewellery design.
