Civil Engineer

RN Elements is looking for a Civil Engineer who can bridge the gap between engineering and business development. The candidate will be responsible for meeting consultants, structural engineers, architects, contractors, infrastructure companies, and government departments to promote GFRP Rebar as an alternative to conventional steel reinforcement.

The role requires technical understanding of RCC design, reinforcement detailing, and the ability to modify drawings and reinforcement schedules to suit GFRP Rebar applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet structural consultants, architects, contractors, builders, and government officials to introduce and explain GFRP Rebar technology.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Review RCC drawings, reinforcement details, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with design consultants to convert conventional steel reinforcement designs into GFRP Rebar designs.
• Prepare revised reinforcement layouts, bar schedules, and quantity calculations.
• Assist clients in optimizing designs using GFRP Rebar.
• Provide technical support during project planning and execution.
• Work closely with the sales team to generate and close business opportunities.
• Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and project leads.
• Maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, and infrastructure companies.
• Support preparation of technical documents, project proposals, and tender submissions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma Civil).
• Strong understanding of RCC structures and reinforcement detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and BOQs.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and project visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural design, construction materials, rebar industry, or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with GFRP, FRP composites, or alternative reinforcement systems.
• Experience interacting with consultants and government departments.
