Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Associate to help keep our business records accurate, organized, and up to date. This role involves entering, updating, and maintaining information across internal systems, spreadsheets, order records, and business documents. The right candidate should be comfortable handling repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and should be able to work efficiently without compromising attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities


* Enter and update data in spreadsheets, internal records, and business systems

* Maintain accurate customer, order, inventory, supplier, and product information

* Review data for errors, missing details, or inconsistencies and correct them promptly

* Organize and update records such as invoices, forms, purchase details, and order logs

* Ensure all files, documents, and digital records are properly labeled and stored

* Cross-check entered data against source documents for accuracy

* Assist with preparing reports and summaries from existing data

* Support bookkeeping-related data entry such as basic expense logs, payment records, and invoice tracking

* Handle basic administrative tasks related to documentation and record maintenance

* Coordinate with team members when clarification is needed on incomplete or incorrect information

* Maintain confidentiality when working with business, customer, and financial information


Required Skills and Qualifications


* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Fast and efficient typing and data entry skills

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

* Comfortable working with email and digital documents

* Basic understanding of bookkeeping and recordkeeping

* Ability to organize large amounts of information clearly

* Good written communication skills

* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time

* Reliable, consistent, and able to handle repetitive work carefully


Preferred Qualifications


* Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar tools

* Previous experience in data entry, back-office operations, or administrative support

* Experience handling forms, banking information, invoices, or financial records


Performance Expectations


* High accuracy in data entry

* Timely completion of assigned work

* Proper organization of files and records

* Minimal errors and strong follow-through on corrections
