E-Commerce Packing & Order Processing Lead/Executive

Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented E-Commerce Packing & Order Processing Executive to manage daily product packing, order processing and dispatch activities for Amazon and Flipkart.

The candidate will be responsible for accurately picking products, checking orders, packing products as per marketplace requirements, printing invoices/shipping labels, updating order status and handing over shipments to the respective logistics partners.

• Key Responsibilities

1. Amazon FBA Packing & Inventory PreparationPick and verify products according to the FBA shipment/order requirements.

• Check product SKU, quantity, size, colour, model and condition before packing.
• Pack products securely using the required packaging materials.
• Apply required product labels, barcodes and shipment labels correctly.
• Ensure products are properly packed to avoid damage during transportation.
• Prepare cartons/shipments for dispatch to the Amazon Fulfilment Centre.
• Maintain proper records of packed and dispatched inventory.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock movement and inventory counting.
• Identify damaged, defective, missing or mismatched products and report them immediately.

2. Amazon MFN / Self-Ship Order ProcessingFor Amazon seller-fulfilled orders:

1. Check new orders in Amazon Seller Central.
2. Verify SKU, product, quantity and customer/order details.
3. Pick the correct product from inventory.
4. Generate/print the required invoice and shipping documents.
5. Pack the product securely according to the company's packing SOP.
6. Paste the shipping label correctly and ensure the barcode is clearly visible.
7. Verify the final package before dispatch.
8. Handover the shipment to the assigned courier/logistics partner.
9. Update/confirm shipment status and tracking information in Seller Central.
10. Maintain daily records of shipped, pending, cancelled and returned orders.

Amazon's MFN/self-ship model requires the seller to manage the order and ship it directly to the customer, including shipment confirmation and tracking information.

3. Flipkart Order Processing Check new orders in Flipkart Seller Hub.

• Process orders within the required dispatch timeline.
• Pick the correct product according to SKU/order details.
• Verify product quantity, colour, size and condition.
• Print invoice and shipping label/documents.
• Pack the product properly according to Flipkart packaging requirements.
• Affix the shipping label/barcode correctly.
• Mark the shipment as ready for dispatch/RTS as applicable.
• Handover the parcel to the Flipkart/eKart pickup partner.
• Update shipment/order status where required.
• Maintain records of dispatched, pending, cancelled and returned orders.

4.Quality Check & PackingThe employee must ensure:

• Correct product is packed against the order.
• Correct quantity is packed.
• Product is free from visible damage/defects.
• Product packaging is clean and presentable.
• Correct barcode/SKU is used.
• Invoice and shipping label are correct.
• Label is pasted flat and clearly visible.
• Package is properly sealed.
• No product is dispatched without completing the required checks.

5.Daily Warehouse Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.

• Keep packing materials ready and properly organized.
• Maintain stock of boxes, polybags, tape, labels and other materials.
• Assist with stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain dispatch and packing records.
• Follow company SOPs and safety procedures.
• Complete daily orders within the assigned cut-off time.

6.Required Skills Basic computer knowledge.

• Basic knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub preferred.
• Ability to use a computer, printer and barcode scanner.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to read product SKUs and shipping labels.
• Basic Excel knowledge is an advantage.
• Good counting and inventory-handling skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under daily order deadlines.
• Honest, responsible and punctual.
• Willingness to learn e-commerce order processing.

7.Experience PreferredCandidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

• Amazon FBA packing

Freshers can also apply if they have basic computer knowledge and are willing to learn.
