Job Description
- Site Execution:- Execute electrical work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Supervise installation of panels, cabling, earthing, lighting, and related electrical systems. Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of site activities.
- Material Management:- Verify all materials received at site and maintain material records. Monitor site stock, material issuance, and consumption. Coordinate with Purchase and Store Departments for material requirements.
- Work Planning & Progress Reporting:- Prepare and implement daily and weekly work schedules. Maintain records of daily progress, manpower utilization, and material consumption. Report delays, risks, and site issues to the Project Manager.
- Drawing & Technical Coordination:- Execute work as per approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with Design Engineers for technical clarifications and revisions. Record and communicate as-built changes to the design team.
- Safety & Quality Compliance:- Follow all site safety procedures and electrical standards. Ensure quality control and proper housekeeping at site. Report safety concerns and quality issues immediately.
- Client & Contractor Coordination:- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for inspections and approvals. Resolve site-level issues and maintain professional client relationships. Represent Powertech Electricals during site meetings and discussions.
- Documentation & Billing Support:- Maintain daily reports, measurement sheets, and site documentation. Support preparation of measurement records and billing documents. Ensure proper filing of project-related records.
- Testing & Commissioning:- Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment. Record test results and prepare commissioning and handover documentation.
- Coordination with Head Office:- Update project progress and site data in R-Dash ERP or project management tools.Coordinate regularly with Purchase, Accounts, Design, and Project Teams. Provide timely updates on project status and site requirements.
