Febrication Supervisior

A Fabrication Supervisor manages day-to-day shop activities, overseeing cutting, welding, bending, and assembly teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. They are responsible for workforce allocation, enforcing safety protocols, reading engineering drawings, and optimizing production efficiency

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Production Management: Plan and oversee daily shop floor activities (cutting, bending, welding, assembly) to meet schedules.
• Quality Control: Ensure fabricated parts adhere to blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Workforce Supervision: Manage and allocate personnel, monitor productivity, provide training, and ensure discipline.
• Safety Enforcement: Maintain a safe working environment, enforcing 5S and safety regulations.
• Technical Coordination: Troubleshoot fabrication processes (welding techniques, heat treatment) and coordinate with design or engineering teams.
• Resource Management: Monitor material consumption, manage welding electrodes, and arrange tools. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 3–8 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying engineering drawings, welding symbols, and tolerances.
• Education: A diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is often preferred, or extensive industry experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in welding types (e.g., GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW), AutoCAD, and SAP.

• Heavy engineering workshops, manufacturing plants, and oil & gas pipeline sites water & waste management
