Job Description
A Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, products, and services required by the company. The role includes vendor coordination, price negotiation, purchase order management, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate suppliers/vendors
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and invoices
- Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments
- Monitor inventory and stock levels
- Ensure timely delivery of materials
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis
- Maintain good relationships with vendors
- Follow company purchasing policies and procedures
