Purchase Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive responsible for handling international procurement, coordinating with global vendors, and managing import documentation and customs processes. The candidate should have strong communication skills and knowledge of international trade procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement from international vendors
• Communicate and negotiate with overseas suppliers for pricing, delivery timelines, and terms
• Coordinate with custom clearing agents and customs officers for smooth import processes
• Manage import documentation such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and policies
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Maintain vendor database and develop new international suppliers
• Work closely with logistics partners for shipping and freight coordination
• Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders accordingly
• Resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or customs clearance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in international purchasing or import/export
• Knowledge of custom clearance procedures and documentation
• Strong communication skills (English required for international dealings)
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
