Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Godown Incharge to manage daily warehouse operations in our textile manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock records, material handling, inventory control, and ensuring smooth inward and outward movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day godown operations efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of raw materials, finished goods, and accessories.

Handle material inward and outward entries.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.

Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams for material requirements.

Ensure proper storage and identification of textile materials.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory audits.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the godown.

Prepare stock reports and submit them to management as required.

Supervise loading and unloading activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.

Experience in handling textile materials and fabric inventory.

Ability to maintain records and documentation.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP entry preferred).

Good organizational and communication skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.

Eligibility Criteria

HSC (12th Pass) or above.

1-2 years of experience in a textile manufacturing company.

Familiarity with warehouse/godown operations.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
