Textile Designer

We are looking for a creative and experienced Textile Designer – Jacquard Design with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing woven Jacquard fabrics. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Jacquard weaving, color combinations, fabric structures, and market trends. The candidate will be responsible for creating innovative designs that align with customer requirements and current fashion trends.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCreate original Jacquard fabric designs for sarees, dress materials, furnishing fabrics, and other woven textiles.
• Develop repeat patterns, motifs, and layouts suitable for Jacquard weaving.
• Prepare design files compatible with Jacquard weaving machines.
• Coordinate with the sampling and production teams to ensure accurate design execution.
• Select suitable yarns, colors, and weave structures for desired fabric effects.
• Modify existing designs based on client requirements and market demand.
• Stay updated with the latest textile, fashion, and color trends.
• Maintain an organized library of designs and development samples.
• Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams for seasonal collections.
• Ensure designs are technically feasible for production while maintaining quality standards.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Jacquard weaving techniques and fabric construction.
• Hands-on experience with NedGraphics, ArahWeave, Textronics, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar textile design software.
• Excellent understanding of repeat development and color separation.
• Knowledge of yarn counts, weave structures, and loom limitations.
• Strong creativity with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple design projects.
• QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile Design, Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Jacquard Textile Designing within a textile manufacturing company.
• Preferred CandidateExperience in designing fashion fabrics, ethnic wear, furnishing fabrics, or home textiles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing Jacquard design work.

Knowledge of current domestic and international textile trends.
