Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Turner Fitter to join our mechanical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating lathes and other machinery to manufacture and assemble mechanical components, ensuring quality and precision in all operations.
- Key Responsibilities:Operate lathe machines and other machining tools to fabricate metal parts
- Perform fitting and assembly work on mechanical components and systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Measure and inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
- Conduct preventive maintenance of machines and tools
- Carry out repair and replacement tasks as required
- Ensure safe working practices and maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians for process improvement
- Maintain logs of work completed and report any faults or safety concerns
