Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Thane. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions, review orders for potential drug interactions, and provide counseling on proper usage, dosage, and possible side effects. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining prescription records, managing inventory and stock levels, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and complying with all regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, handling customer queries, and supporting pharmacy staff to deliver efficient and courteous service.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a valid pharmacy degree (B.Pharm or D.Pharm) and appropriate registration with the relevant pharmacy council.
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, and drug interactions.
• Candidates should possess skills in medication dispensing accuracy, inventory management, and record-keeping.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to counsel patients clearly and respectfully.
• Candidates should possess the ability to follow regulatory guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical pharmacy practices.
• Experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting and familiarity with pharmacy management software will be beneficial.
