Insurance Sales / BD Manager

Job Location: Thane & Delhi, NCR

CTC : Attractive Salary + Smart Incentive structure

Key Responsibilities

·        Generate leads through calls, referrals, field visits, networking, and digital channels.

·        Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions.

·        Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and premium details clearly.

·        Achieve monthly/quarterly & annual sales targets.

·        Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.

·        Assist customers with documentation and policy issuance processes.

·        Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations and policy servicing.

·        Build long-term customer relationships for renewals and cross-selling.

·        Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM/software.

·        Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills

·        Strong communication and negotiation skills.

·        Good convincing and interpersonal abilities & good track record in case of experienced professional.

·        Target-oriented and self-motivated mindset.

·        Basic understanding of insurance products and sales processes.

·        Ability to work independently and in a team.

·        Proficiency of Outlook and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.

·        Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or direct sales is an advantage.

·        Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply.

Preferred Experience

·        0–3 years in insurance sales, BFSI sales, or direct selling.

·        Experience of 1-2 years is preferable.

·        Experience in cold calling and field sales is a plus.

·        Freshers are welcome.
