JOB TITLE: Society Manager (Fresher)


Location: Thane, Maharashtra

ABOUT THE ROLE


Puranik & Associates is looking for a motivated and responsible Society Manager to assist in the management and administration of Co-operative Housing Societies. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who wish to build a career in housing society management, compliance, administration, and customer service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Society Administration

• Maintain member records and society registers.

• Assist in preparation of notices, circulars, and correspondence.

• Maintain society documentation and files.

• Follow up on society-related tasks and pending actions.


Meeting Management

• Coordinate Managing Committee Meetings, AGMs, and SGMs.

• Prepare meeting agendas and MOMs (Minutes of Meetings).

• Record and maintain meeting resolutions.


Compliance & Documentation

• Assist in maintaining statutory registers.

• Support filing of mandatory forms and returns.

• Ensure society records are updated and organized.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and authorities when required.


Member Coordination

• Address member queries and concerns professionally.

• Maintain communication between committee members and residents.

• Follow up on complaints and service requests.


Site Visits & Operations

• Visit assigned societies regularly.

• Monitor housekeeping, security, and maintenance activities.

• Report operational issues to senior management.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.


Financial Support

• Assist in maintenance billing and collection follow-ups.

• Support record keeping of expenses and vouchers.

• Coordinate with accountants for financial documentation.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


• 12th/ Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BMS, BA, BBA preferred).

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Email.

• Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

• Willingness to travel within Thane and nearby areas. (Two Wheeler for conveyance to Offices and Banks. Petrol cost will be paid separately)


DESIRED SKILLS


• Good organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to interact with society members and committee members.

• Basic understanding of housing society operations (preferred but not mandatory).
